DVD9 replication, Questions regarding DVD9 source material

I'm interested in getting my project replicated as DVD9 but I'm not familiar with DLT drives. Are there other ways to provide the source that would be just reliable (i read something about maybe using ISOs)? If not, what type of drive would I require to met the needs of solely producing source tapes? Any assitance you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Chris,

Depending on what DVD authoring software are you using, you can send us an ISO file or DDP 2.0/2.1 file. In either case you can just treat the file as data file and burn it on a dual layer DVD-R. If your drive does not support dual layer burning, you can split the file into multiple of smaller files using WinRar or any file splitting programs. Once the files are splitted, you can burn them on two regular 4.7GB DVD-Rs.

If ISO or DDP is not an option for your authoring software, try to burn a completed authored DVD-R. You can also just supply us the Video_TS folder and we will rebuild the DVD from the scratch.
